Some reviews might complain about the bumpers being to big but note they have changed that...the bumpers shown in the picture are rounded but the ones you get are the flat standard bumpers and fit very nicely. I purchased this before my son was born, he is now 11 months old and the bedding has held up like new. I also purchased the hamper, storage bins, clock, Blanket in Green Velour with Giggles Stripe Ruffle, burp cloths, Messenger Diaper Bag, bear mobile and valances. I was so excited about getting it because I couldn't wait to get it washed and get it on my son's crib... so I got it all unpacked and washed and when I went to get it out of the washer I noticed that the bumpers were, um.... well "messed up". The stuffing inside was all like bunched up and they DID NOT wash well. I really regret washing the bumpers. The one huge plus however is that I LOVED the colors, and liked it so much more in person then I did on the site. The colors are more muted then they seem to be online, they do seem a little brighter online, but was very happy with the rest of it. So I do give this a 4 star because I really, really liked it... and if the bumpers were better.. as in washed better and fit the crib better... this would have gotten a 5 star. I love the different patterns and textures. The bumper and blanket are very soft and the sheet is jersey knit (also very soft). I expected the blanket to be heavier--more like the weight of a comforter but it's lighter and more like a blanket. However, I think the weight is actually perfect since it will just be used sometimes since baby shouldn't sleep with it in the bed anyway. Overall I love this set! |
